With over 19 years of experience, Talal Alshemari, known as Coach TA, has dedicated his life to empowering individuals and businesses. His journey from surviving the Gulf War and refugee camps to becoming a renowned coach and entrepreneur in New Zealand is a testament to resilience and determination.
Life has thrown plenty of challenges my way, and I know firsthand what it takes to push through setbacks. In 2019, I faced some tough times that tested my values and resilience. I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, and supporters for standing by me through all chapters of my journey. Past challenges have strengthened my commitment to serve with even greater dedication.
I come from a place where survival was the only option — wars, refugee camps, and starting over in a country where nothing was handed to us. Every challenge taught me one thing: real strength isn’t given to you — you have to build it yourself. Fitness and rugby became my way through. It wasn’t just about training my body — it was about strengthening my mind, my heart, and my future. It taught me how to fight, how to lead, and how to believe — not just in myself, but in others.
Over the years, I’ve been lucky to coach across 50 countries and work with thousands of people chasing their own breakthroughs. My mission has stayed the same: to help people rise, rebuild, and realize what they're truly capable of. The road hasn’t always been smooth. But every setback sharpened my focus and strengthened my drive. And today, I’m more committed than ever to building something bigger — for myself, for my community, and for anyone ready to step up.
